Knives out is one of the most impressive movies in recent years when it comes to production design and quality. From start to finish the film contains great large well decorated rooms and the mansion is filled with small stage dressings and props all over. The details in the paintings in the rooms is what I find very impressive. Director Rian Johnson said they had portraits painted for the movie which where hung around the house.
Daniel Creggs character Laurent Blanc was also interesting to me as he was playing a Texan he was dressed in what you'd expect someone from the Sherlock Holmes universe to be wearing, as he was a detective the look suited the character overall.
