Perspective drawings is a process in production design where members of the team would draw up a Perspective of a room or building while in the planning stage. This helps the designers get an image of the room before being on sight allowing them to set the room up how they would like. This gives them a huge advantage allowing them to get to work possibly from away from the shoot getting material and props designed and manufactured to suite the room in time for the shoot day.
I discovered my inability to draw in a class exercise my failings as an artist never so blatantly exposed but I enjoyed the process and could see improvements in myself by the end of class!! I can fully understand the pros of this process in the planning stages a great assets for production designers.
